Install the app

After you buy, install the APK on your Android phone (or open the web app on iPhone / desktop) and launch Render Control.

Add it to Blender

Drag the extension zip onto Blender (or Preferences ▸ Get Extensions ▸ Install from Disk) and enable Render Control. A code appears.

In the app, tap Scan and point it at the QR in Blender, or type the 6-digit code. Done. You're connected.

Can I use it on iPhone?

No. Once paired it works over any Wi-Fi or cellular, anywhere. The Blender extension only makes outbound connections, so there's nothing to open or forward. Your PC just needs power and internet.

Is it private?

Yes. Pairing is end-to-end encrypted (ChaCha20-Poly1305): the relay only passes ciphertext and can't read your renders, previews, or commands. Pairing codes expire and every device gets its own token.
